Business activities commenced in 1994 as a proprietorship known as "Samarakoon Enterprises"
to supply telecommunication hardware (i.e. Galvanized & Non Galvanized Bolts &
Nuts, Brackets, Fittings, Hooks etc.) to the subcontractors of aerial cable projects of Sri
Lanka Telecom Ltd.
We moved to new premises located on the Colombo - Negombo high way with a fully equipped factory
and office complex and registered as a private liability company under the name of Teshan
Engineering (Private) Ltd. We commenced fabricating, manufacturing and distributing hardware
items for the mobile telecommunication industry and the Ceylon Electricity Board requirements.
We can candidly say that today we are the leading fabricators, civil works in the installation
and erection of green field towers and manufacturer of components and accessories for the mobile
telecommunication industry. During the periods 2007/2008 & 2009 we undertook and
completed successfully the Mobitel Stages IV and V as turnkey projects for Huawei
Technologies Lanka ( Pvt) Ltd, Bharthi Airtel Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and Dialog Telecom Ltd. We
have also undertaken and completed successfully the installation, testing and commissioning of
Telecommunication equipment during the past years and continue to do so at present. In fact,
Huawei Technologies Lanka (Pvt) Ltd awarded us a special plaque in Bangkok that Teshan
Engineering (Pvt) Ltd was their best partner in Sri Lanka for the years 2008 & 2009.

In addition to the foregoing, we fabricate Steel Building and The
installation services and presenily carry out this type of work for CECB, State Engineering
Corporation, Lanmak together with roof and cladding.
Lanmak Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is an associate company under the same management as Teshan
that has a very modern large workshop along with the latest machinery to cater to the Mobile
Telecommunication Industry and other engineering requirements

Lanmak Engineering (Pvt) Ltd a sister organization with BOI approval has been functioning for a
little over an year possess state of the art machinery and is in a position to cope with all
demands of the growing engineering field. Management is the same as that of Teshan and manned by
qualified engineers and skilled personnel as much as it is in Teshan.
